Scientific approach in brain and spine surgery, personalized solutions

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alican Tahta is a faculty member in the Department of Neurosurgery at Istanbul Medipol University. After graduation from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, he completed his residency in Neurosurgery at Istanbul University. He is currently pursuing his doctorate in clinical anatomy.

 

His professional interests include brain tumors, epilepsy surgery, childhood brain tumors, meningiomas, high gliomas and spine surgery. His scientific research focuses on neuro-oncology, epilepsy surgery, and artificial intelligence-assisted clinical decision systems.

Dr. Tahta, who has managed the diagnosis, treatment, and surgery of numerous patients both domestically and internationally, is committed to providing a personalized approach to each patient. He embraces a holistic approach to treatment, addressing not only the biological aspects of diseases but also their psychological and social impacts. His goal is to support his patients scientifically, ethically, and transparently throughout the entire process, from diagnosis and treatment to surgery and follow-up.
